Day 1 – Arrival and welcome dinner at the villa.
You can check into your villa at 3pm, so I would suggest everyone arrive after 2pm. You can let everyone know that the included transfer will be leaving the airport at 3pm. If anyone arrives after that time, they will need to arrange their own transportation.
It will be around 4pm by the time you get to the villas, so everyone will have a few hours to settle in before dinner at 7. You can either do dinner at the villa or out at a restaurant. I currently have it in the itinerary as being at the villa because I assume everyone will be tired from a long day of traveling.
Day 2 – First seminar day
The day will start with yoga around 7 and then breakfast at 8. After breakfast, the seminars will start at 9am and run until 1 pm, when lunch is served at the villa. Guests will have a few hours to relax before heading to a nearby hotel for a beachfront luau. There is a free local shuttle (aloha shuttle) that runs all throughout Poipu, so you can take that home after the luau. The shuttle doesn’t start until 6pm and the luau starts at 5pm, so we’ll arrange a shuttle to get there.
Day 3 – South Shore Snorkeling
Today will include an excursion to go snorkeling on the south shore. The tour includes breakfast and lunch, and lasts about 5 hours. The pickup point is within walking distance of the villas, and you’ll need to be there around 7am. You should be back at the villa by 12:30, to start your seminar at 1, which will run until 5pm. You will then have dinner at the villa.
Day 4 – Free Time
Today will start with yoga, breakfast and seminar time. After you finish your class at 1pm, I thought you could head to Poipu beach for a casual lunch at Brenneckes, which is a popular spot. They serve sandwiches, burgers, salads, etc and is supposed to be very good. After lunch, I left the afternoon open for guests to explore Kauai on their own. You can end the day with dinner at Plantation Gardens, which is a really popular dinner restaurant. The restaurant is about a mile away from the villas, so it is walkable if people want, or you can hop on the free shuttle.
Day 5 – Market and Shops at Kukui’ula
Today starts the same way as previous days, with yoga breakfast and seminar time. Lunch will be at the villa, with a couple hours free afterwards. It might be a nice time for people to go to the beach, play tennis, go to the pool or just relax. Around 3:30, you will leave for the Shops at Kukui’ula, which is a popular shopping plaza nearby. On Wednesday nights, starting at 3:30, there is a really popular culinary and craft market with different stalls set up. It runs from 3:30-6 and there is a cooking demo at about 5pm, with a different chef each week. Guests can walk around, get drinks, do some shopping and just relax for the afternoon. After the market ends, I thought you could have dinner at one of the restaurants there. There are two good options to choose from, and then you can take the free shuttle back to the villas afterwards. That allows people to leave right after dinner if they want, or stay at the shops and get a drink or walk around.
Day 6 – Waimea Canyon Hike
You’ll start a bit earlier today, with breakfast and your seminar time in the morning. You’ll finish up around 12 and then head out on a hike for the afternoon, which includes lunch, to the Waimea Canyon and Napali Coast. The Napali Coast and Waimea Coast are both spectacular and the hike will give you great views of both. It’s about 6-7 hours total, since the starting point is about an hour away. Once you’re back at the villa, you’ll have dinner.
Day 7 – Napali Coast Dinner Cruise
This morning will start with yoga, breakfast, seminar time and lunch at the villa. At about 2, you’ll leave for your evening sunset dinner cruise along the Napali Coast. The cruise will include drinks and dinner.
Day 8 – Checkout
This morning will include a yoga class and breakfast before checking out.
